grinding days;
and lonely nights;
parking lots;
and city lights;
an empty space;
where memories were;
that transcendant place;
for me, with her;
gone again;
and where to now;
a twice-lost haven;
a discarded vow;
the beating heart;
a hollow shell;
paradise lost;
replaced with hell.
